As if getting stung by tens of thousands of bees wasn’t horrible enough, his folks left him at a shelter following the tragedy.

The deaf Pit Bull, subsequently dubbed Stinger by rescuers, came at the shelter covered in life-threatening blisters all over his body.

They intended to euthanize the dog since they couldn’t treat a canine in such horrible shape.

That’s when Carri Shipaila, who operates LuvnPupz rescue in Greater Grand Rapids, MI, stepped in to help. As soon as she heard about Stinger, she hopped in her car and drove nearly an hour to take him up from the shelter.

She instantly started working to save Stinger’s life when his family regrettably denied to accept him. His stings, a later skin infection, and sarcoptic mange were all treated.

Regrettably, he ended up with the autoimmune disease Pemphigus, which would affect him for the rest of his life.
