Previously a shelter resident, Freya, a dog, used to find it difficult to find someone to talk to. However, she now relishes working with some of the most prominent stars in Hollywood.

She will be joining both of them shortly.

As a stray puppy, Freya, a Staffordshire bull terrier, was taken to Freshfields Animal Rescue in England. Despite waiting and observing potential adopters for six years, no one showed any interest in giving her a forever home.

During that time, Freya was dubbed the “world’s loneliest dog” after supposedly being ignored by 18,720 people seeking pets.

Suddenly, everything was different.

Upon coming across an article detailing Freya’s distressing predicament earlier this year, director Michael Bay was of the opinion that the forlorn canine had been unjustly disregarded for an extensive period. As a result, Bay took to Twitter to declare that Freya had been selected for a role in the forthcoming installment of his “Transformers” film franchise.

Details have been few and far between since then, however, we have obtained a photo taken behind the scenes featuring Freya and Anthony Hopkins on set.

In the footage from Paramount Studios, Bay can be heard saying, “Freya is doing an excellent job with her acting.”
