A Heartwarming Tale: A Compassionate Man Rescues a Starving and Flea-Infested Dog on the Side of the Road

Let me tell you about Dharma’s heartbreaking story. One day, a kind-hearted man stumbled upon this little puppy lying by the roadside. The poor thing couldn’t walk, was starving, extremely frail, and covered in fleas and dirt.

RRSA India rescued a puppy named Dharma who had gone through severe suffering and had lost all hope. Dharma’s fur was covered in dirt and fleas, but thankfully, there were no fractures detected after being taken to the doctor. Unfortunately, Dharma had an abnormality in one of his limbs, which made it impossible for him to walk normally. He had to drag himself from one place to another due to various factors such as trauma, accidents, and heredity. It was clear that Dharma needed long-term care to recover. The poor pup had to stay in the hospital for medical attention and constantly shouted in pain. Although he initially feared water, he gradually got used to it.

Although he was covered in sand and dirt, he was still a lovable dog who deserved to be cherished. On the contrary, despite being in the early stages of medical care and experiencing pain, Dharma had no trouble getting back on his feet. However, he needed help with feeding once he arrived at the shelter.

As a component of his recovery, Dharma was given daily supplements and medication. Despite the challenges, he showed remarkable courage throughout the treatment. It took him a couple of weeks before he could stand independently, but he was grateful to be in a beautiful sanctuary. Though he was still unable to walk, Dharma continued to receive daily therapy and gradually grew stronger. With access to quality medication, compassionate foster care, and the support of many well-wishers, he felt more secure and healthier every day.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all those who played a role in preserving his existence and ensuring that he enjoys a contented and thriving future.
