Lamborghini Aventador S Roadster 50th Anniversary Japan Edition

To celebrate Japan’s 50th anniversary of Lamborghini arrival, the high-end automaker based in  Sant’Agata created a limited series called “Aventador S Roadster 50th Anniversary Japan”, produced in just five units destined exclusively for the Japanese market.

Each of the five Aventador S Roadsters is a one-off car, with colors and finishes inspired by one of the five natural elements of Japanese culture. That’s how five unique Aventador S Roadster special edition models were born: Water, Earth, Fire, Wind, Sky.

Water – Color: Blu Nethuns / Nero Pegaso

There’s a very good reason why Lamborghini decided to do a special edition of the Aventador S Roadster just for Japan as it’s currently the second most important market for the brand.

The Aventador S Roadster is the open air edition of the Aventador S, an icon reinvented. The S received four wheel steering, permanent four wheel drive and a slightly updated suspension. The suspension is controlled by the ‘Lamborghini Dinamica Veicolo Attiva’ (LDVA) control unit. The LDVA has four selectable modes – Sport, Strada, Corsa and Ego (i.e. individual). Carbon ceramic brakes are standard.

Earth – Color: Verde Ithaca / Nero Pegaso

Getting back to the fancy Aventador S Roadster at hand, it took no less than 170 hours and a team of ten specialists to finish the paint that blends nicely with the exposed carbon fiber used for the hardtop and the windscreen frame.

Fire – Color: Rosso Efesto / Nero Pegaso

Inside, the unique machine adopts a dark theme by combining Nero Ade black leather with Nero Cosmus black Alcantara surfaces. A whopping 100 hours of labor by six people were necessary to complete the stitching, which has been color-coordinated with the body and has the exact same gradations and shading.

Wind – Color: Bianco Giappone / Nero Pegaso
Sky – Color: Azzurro Tethys / Nero Pegaso
